Herman Cain’s Very Bad Day

Republican Presidential candidate Herman had a bad day Monday, as reports originally published by The Politico: Herman Cain accused by two women of inappropriate behavior.

‘I Don’t Recall’. ‘I Don’t Recollect’. ‘I Can’t Honestly Remember’

Yeah. Right.

Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain was in the hot seat on Monday night, answering questions about allegations of sexual harassment from the 1990s during an interview that aired on Fox News’ “On the Record.”

Politico first reported on the accusations in question from when the former Godfather’s Pizza CEO was serving as head of the National Restaurant Association over a decade ago. The GOP contender, who previously denied any wrongdoing in the alleged incidents, maintained his innocence when pressed on the matter by Fox News host Greta van Susteren.

In coming to his own defense; however, Cain said that because he could recollect certain incidents taking place, that doesn’t mean they didn’t occur.

Asked if he’s ever seen a financial settlement paid to one of two women who accused him of sexual harassment, Cain said, “No. I don’t recall signing it. Now, the fact that I say I don’t recall signing it doesn’t mean that I didn’t sign it, but I simply don’t recall if I signed it.”

Herman Cain On Sexual Harassment Settlement: Not Recalling Signing It, Doesn’t Mean I Didn’t Sign It

You can’t expect a CEO type to remember all the women they sexually harassed over the years. That would just be altogether too much to expect of someone running for President.

Besides, over time all those incidents just sort of run together in the memory and fade away, to be replaced by more important things, like immigrant bashing and brilliant tax plans that appear to have come out of some computer simulation game.

I mean really, what do you expect out of someone who is running for what is still arguably one of the most powerful offices in the world, and whose decisions and actions will impact the lives of nearly 300 million citizens just in his own country. Not counting however many he kills in wars in other countries.

Besides, a likely majority of his supporters don’t believe in the concept of sexual harassment anyway, much less evolution, anthropogenic induced rapid climate change, or any of that hippie liberal stuff.
