Newt Gingrich, in His Own Words: Serial Hypocrite

Ron Paul campaign ad. It is not necessary for the ad to comment. Newt’s own words over the past couple of decades, all clear quotes, none out of context, pretty much say it all. Newt Gingrich has taken pretty much every position available on every key issue, depending on whether or not it advanced his political career, or lined his pockets with millions of dollars as a either a politician or a lobbyist.

After all, this is the man who, as a lobbyist, pocketed $55 million dollars peddling his influence. Crony capitalist: Newt Gingrich ‘earned’ $55 million as influence peddler. Note in the article, which quotes the New York Times, that Gingrich would put language in his contracts claiming he was not acting as a lobbyist. I guess all those companies were just giving him money because he is a charming serial adulterer. That, of course, makes it OK. After all, IOKIYAR.

And, also, robbing a bank will henceforth be known as an “impromptu withdrawal.”
